We have immediate positions available for AAT trainees, AAT part qualified or qualified individuals who are keen, committed and want to work with client businesses to make a difference to their success. We need people who want to develop a dynamic and exciting career – looking from the start to become involved in our rural services specialism and marketing our business. We need individuals who are looking to work with others across a broad range of activities, to quickly learn a range of skills to be able to add value for our diverse portfolio of clients.
Operating from three offices covering Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset, Devon and beyond, Old Mill has a wealth of high profile clients that provide varied, interesting and challenging work. Many of our technicians and accountants come directly from farming backgrounds and so have a true understanding of the issues and challenges that face this sector.
Simply being highly numerate is not enough in today's accountancy world. You will need excellent communication skills and have a flexible and proactive approach to problem solving. It is key that you have the ability to forge strong relationships with both colleagues and clients alike. Qualifications & skills:
- Background or interest in farming and rural communities
- A’ level results (grade C or above) for new trainees, or part/full AAT qualification
- Good interpersonal skills
- Self motivation and discipline
- A good team player
