Operating from three offices covering Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset, Devon and beyond, Old Mill has a wealth of high profile clients that provide varied, interesting and challenging work. Many of our technicians and accountants come directly from farming backgrounds and so have a true understanding of the issues and challenges that face this sector.
Simply being highly numerate is not enough in today's accountancy world. You will need excellent communication and presentation skills and have a flexible and proactive approach to problem solving. It is key that you have the ability to forge strong relationships with both colleagues and clients alike. We welcome graduates of all age groups and from many disciplines – particularly those who may have studied for a post graduate qualification.
Working as part of Old Mill’s innovative Rural Services accountancy team you will have early responsibility for a broad range of clients, providing a first class quality and personal service. You should also be prepared to develop consultancy skills and relationship building skills to grow the business.

Qualifications & skills:
- Background or interest in farming and rural communities
- Minimum 2.1 degree in any discipline
- Good interpersonal skills
- Self motivation and discipline
- A good team player
