Para Planner - Financial Planning

Location: Exeter, Shepton Mallet

We are seeking a proactive, self motivated experienced and qualified Para Planner, to support one of our Financial Planners. Key responsibilities include the preparation of detailed reports and the servicing of prospective, new clients on all aspects of financial planning.

Key duties include:

• Manage and prioritise your Consultant's client work
• Carryout technical research to meet the clients needs
• Produce compliant suitability reports
• Provide technical support to dedicated Consultant
• Process client queries
• Manage client reviews and maturities
• Maintain Consultant's WIP record
• Performing any other tasks required as delegated by the Consultant

Qualifications & skills:

• Dip PFS or working towards
• Worked in a similar role or environment for at least 3 years
• Understanding and working knowledge of;
  • Personal taxation & tax fundamentals
  • Taxation of investments
  • Investments products
  • Protection products
  • Retirement products
  • Trust & Wills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience of using 1st software and maintaining accurate client records
