Operating from four offices through Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset, Devon and beyond, Old Mill has a wealth of high profile clients that provide varied, interesting and challenging work. Many of our technicians and accountants come directly from farming backgrounds and so have a true understanding of the issues and challenges that face this sector.
As a Senior Manager/ Director you will have responsibility for continuing to grow the business and delivering high quality service and advice to your clients. You will need a proven record of delivering excellence and be committed to your own career development and that of your team. You will manage your own portfolio and be actively representing the practice in the local rural community whilst developing new business opportunities.
- ACA/ACCA qualified ideally from a progressive accountancy practice
- Proven experience of forging successful business relationships
- Up to date accounting knowledge - including accounting standards
- Current knowledge of CGT and IHT planning for the agricultural sector
- Experience in audit, accounts preparation, and tax with a Rural Services bias
- Experienced people manager, with the ability to coach and develop a team
- Innovative approach to problem solving
- Pro-active communication style
- Be capable of providing strategic leadership
